The charts shew the daily temperature (three observations), relative humidity of the atmosphere, and the admissions for ague during both months at the Station Hospital Ambala. The humidity has been calculated from records of dry and wet bulb thermometers by means of the table, given in Parkes' Hygiene, third edition, page 440. I. Temperature.?The first point which attracts attention, when the two charts are contrasted, is the much larger daily range of temperature in April, when there is little fever, than in August when fever prevails. The greatest daily range in April was 35?F. and the least i2?F. On twenty days during the month the range exceeded 2o?F. In August, on the contrary, it is seen that the greatest daily range was only i7?F. and the least 5?F. On five days only did the range reach i5*F. Should this be the normal or
